Fistfull started in 1997 out of Ottawa, Ontario and have just finished recording their first album "A Penny For Your Thought".

 Shon and Dan have been playing together since the age of twelve.  In early 1995, they met Lee and asked him if he could play drums, and he responded "uh....kinda" so they now had a drummer. Sometime later their friend J. joined the band as a second guitarist., Shon (guitar), Dan (bass and vocals) and Lee (drums) and J. (guitar) recorded a three song demo at Distortion Studios' under the name "Teenage Rampage", but broke up soon after that.  In early 1997 Shon and Mat met in school, Mat  said he owned a bass and a bass amp, but couldn't play.  One night they all got together to jam to see what would come of it.  What came of it was fast, aggressive hardcore led by dan's furious vocals and lyrics.  That summer they played their first show and have played many shows with several bands since then.  After receiving a stolen recording machine from some friends , who took it from their school (*cough* Loki), they recorded their first full length album "A Penny For Your Thought".  Lee had since then left the band, which led to fistfull reforming as a three piece, but not for long as they asked Tim to play drums. Now with everyone back to their original intruments we re-recorded the "A penny for your thought" album with the addition of a few new songs,changed the cover,renamed it as a "s/t" and we cut all the shitty songs.
